The gateway offers one or two RJ-11 telephone jacks for connecting with analog phones or fax machines, another RJ-11 jack for connecting with public telephone network, and two Ethernet ports which can be configured as switch or router mode for connections under different network access environment. With SVG6000B, users can make and receive calls either through traditional telephone network or through Internet networks as they want.

FEATURESFully SIP Compliant

SVG6000B is fully compliant with Session Initiation Protocol (RFC3261). It can work with any SIP compliant devices like IP phone, software phone, IPPBX, analog gateway, digital gateway etc.

Full Call Functions

SVG6000B offers full set of normal call functions like Call ID, Call Hold, Call Waiting, Call Forward and 3-way conference.

Call Through

SVG6000B can bridge calls between VoIP and PSTN from either direction. Calls from PSTN can reach any phone number in the VoIP network, or phones in the VoIP network can make outgoing calls through the PSTN line connected to SVG6000B. Both One-Staging Dialing and Two-Staging Dialing are supported.

Call Back

SVG6000B provides Call Back function. The user can call to the PSTN line port and hang up after 3 rings. Then the SVG6000B will call back to the user and play the two-stage dialing tone, and then the user can make international calls via the Internet with cheap rates provided by the ITSP.

Power Failure Pass Through

In the event of a power failure, calls can be made or received via a direct connection to the PSTN line, which assures the availability of communications at any situation.

Built-in Switch or Router

The two Ethernet ports can be configured as switch or router mode. Usually switch mode is preferred if used in an office LAN environment, while router mode is more useful when used in a home network environment because of the IP sharing function.
